Configuring archiving

NOTE

Archiving to network drives is non supported.

Archiving the whole server

1. In the assistants interface, go to Configuration > Archiving and Fill-in > Archiving.
2. Check Enable email archiving.
3. To send the archive files to an electronic mail address, bank check Annal to the remote email address and key-in the address.
4. To relieve the annal files to a local hard drive, check Archive to the local subfolder, select the archiving interval, and specify the binder at the Target archive directory at the height.

7. Click Employ to save your settings.

Archiving individual domains

NOTE

1. In the administration interface, become to Configuration > Archiving and Backup > Archiving.
2. Select Enable additional archiving to a remote email address for domains.

3. Click Apply.
4. Get to Configuration > Domains.
5. Double-click the domain you want to archive, and go to the Archiving tab.
6. Select Archive to the remote email accost and central-in the electronic mail address.
7. Select the types of messages you want to archive - incoming, outgoing, or both.

Annotation

You cannot annal relayed letters.

8. To avoid the antispam and antivirus checks before archiving, check Annal messages before applying the content filter cheque.
9. Click OK.

Assigning ambassador rights to view archive folders

By default, only the administrator of the primary domain can view archive folders. However, they can also assign the rights to other users.

NOTE

Because all users' messages are archived, only trusted users should have access to the annal folders.

1. In the administration interface, go to Accounts > Users.
2. Double-click a trusted user and get to the Rights tab.
3. Select the Public folders option.
4. Click OK.

Viewing annal folders

Whenever an archive folder is available to be viewed, it is automatically displayed in the Kerio Connect Client of users with appropriate access rights.
